Well, it's actually been a busy month and 10 days! There has been so much going on in the Bair's Den that we want to catch you up on everything we've done since our last post.
First, Mrs. Bair was finally able to get the amazing Erie Lowlands podcast to upload to our YouTube channel. You can watch this informational podcast below!
*okay - I thought we had the technical problems figured out. Check back soon for a revised post if we can figure it out!*
Besides learning, we had some especially fun school spirit days! Character Day was a popular one, and even the teachers got dressed up as their favorite characters and shared some of their favorite books! Check out the great pictures of this funny day:
During one of our class meetings, we worked on team building. To "Soar High with Our Team" we worked together to build paper airplanes. Once the planes we built we wrote positive words on them to describe the people on our teams. We were all very excited to see how far our planes flew:
Unfortunately it has not been all fun times in the Bair's Den. During the last few weeks we have had to say goodbye to two of our family members. Britney and Isaiah have moved to new schools, and we are very sad that they have left us. On their last days we showered them with a Compliments Carwash and took class pictures... one nice and one that shows our really goofy selves! We will miss you, Isaiah and Britney!
And while we said goodbye to two of our friends, we welcomed two new members to the Bair's Den! Felix has joined our morning class, and Anthony has joined our afternoon class. We are excited to have both boys join us, and we're looking forward to working with them the rest of the year.
Finally, we are going to be starting some exciting projects with kids from all over North America! Our first step is to introduce ourselves to the other classes, and we have decided to do a video for our introduction. We were working with groups today to decide which information should be included in our video and which shouldn't.
That's about everything that we've had going on the last month. We're looking forward to posting more frequently now that we are back on track.
