Our North American Project
Over the past few weeks we have been working with several classes across North America. One of those is Mrs. Cassidy's first grade class in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. We sent videos introducing ourselves, and we also worked together to create our first Storybird! Take a look:
Making Friends by kathycassidy, MrsBair on Storybird
Storybird is a very easy-to-use website that lets you create your own books. We all have our own usernames and passwords. We're still working on remembering that creating a story means more than just adding a few words to the beautiful pictures; we need to include characters, a setting, some sort of problem, events and a solution. But we'll continue to work with this great program throughout the rest of the year!

I liked your story, especially the problem about making friends and the solution! My favorite character was Toasterhead. Who was your favorite and why? Did you have more trouble with one character than another?
